Wolf Blass
Deep crimson color. Lifted dark berry and plum fruits with hints of anise and attractive cedary oak. The full, round palate displays rich fruits flavours with excellent depth, balanced by fine acidity and long silky tannins.
Wine Spectator
Firm and chewy, with a supple texture underneath the veneer of tannins, offering smoky, wood-accented blackberry and currant flavors, lingering on the polished finish. Best from 2011 through 2020.

Wine Advocate
The 2007 Shiraz Gold Label which was aged for 18 months in a mix of new and used French and American oak. Purple-colored it offers up a nose of spice box, smoked meat, game, plum, and blueberry. Sweetly-fruited and easy-going on the palate, it has layered flavors, good depth and concentration, some elegance, and a lengthy finish. Give it 1-2 years to fully open and drink it from 2011 to 2019.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
