Piper Heidsieck
On the eye: An intense colour, a clear and deep pink. On the nose: The first impression is fresh, suggesting the high spirit and vivacity typical of the Piper-Heidsieck style. It has a strong aroma of red fruit, dominated by the Morello cherry. This is followed by a fragrant harmony of citrus fruit, mandarins and blood oranges. The final impression leaves a hint of cinnamon. On the palate: A lively, generous and intense wine. Its freshness is expressed by the slight tartness of red fruit, which then mellows with the aromas of macerated fruit and red plums. The final sensation is exuberant and warm. A charming wine with delicate and enchanting accents. It gives an impression of youth and vigour but also tenderness and serenity. The ultimate in refinement. Based on a blend of about fifty crus; the same approach to blending as that of the Brut Cuvée, with the addition of a proportion of red Champagne wine, which gives this wine not only a style typical of Piper-Heidsieck but also a distinctive colour and fruity taste. The harmony of the blend develops during a long maturing process lasting at least thirty months in the Piper-Heidsieck chalk cellars. It can be drunk as an aperitif and served at a cocktail party, garden reception, an all-night party lasting until dawn, an intimate tête-à -tête or a gathering of friends……It is also ideal for a sophisticated dinner party. In the kitchen, it can be used to prepare fish and chicken, and desserts based on red fruit…A carefully studied simplicity that will enable you to express a spontaneity full of charm.
Wine Enthusiast
With no dosage, this is a very dry wine that has benefited from some good bottle aging. It is also darker in color than some rosés, which gives the wine considerable body and richness.

A boldly flavored bubbly, displaying vivid cherry and berry flavors with a fine texture. Bracing acidity and a lingering finish of freshly crushed berries completes the presentation. Drink now. 3,000 cases imported.
