Chateau St. Jean
Fresh aromas of yellow fruit, citrus zest and hints of honeysuckle and smoke introduce the nose of this single vineyard Chardonnay. A medium-bodied entry fills the mouth with notes of pear, citrus, honey and nutmeg. Balanced acidity and lingering notes of Meyer lemon make this an excellent food wine.
Wine Spectator
Perfumed floral, tangerine, nectarine and vibrant green pear give this full-bodied wine lots of lively flavors, ending with a long, clean finish that picks up a nice vanilla and honeysuckle note. Drink now through 2011. 9,400 cases made.

The non-malolactic 2006 Chardonnay Robert Young Vineyard exhibits crisp lemon blossom, white peach, and steely mineral notes, full body, a crisp, zesty acid profile, and plenty of purity. It should drink well for 3-4 years.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
