Aromas of vanilla bean, coffee bean, and dark cherries lead to a medium bodied palate accented by dark chocolate covered pomegranate. The supple finish offers silky tannins with hints of dark chocolate and spice.
Wine Spectator
Lithe and open-textured featuring pretty red berry and cherry flavors at the center, shaded with spice and coffee notes. The finish lingers nicely. Drink now through 2015.

Wine Enthusiast
Substantial and tannic, this affordable Cabernet has genuine grip and a fair amount of muscle. The fruit runs to sour cherry and plum; there is also a suggestion of dry earth and black olive. A lovely finish with a kiss of sweet fruit.

Wine Advocate
The purple-colored 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Estates (225,000 cases) spent 16 months in 33% new oak. Cedar, tobacco, incense, violets, spice box, black currant, and blackberry aromas inform the nose of a layered, spicy, easy-to-understand Cabernet that is nicely balanced and moderately lengthy. It is a very good value that will provide enjoyment for another 4-5 years.

Biodynamic designation is regulated by Demeter, an international certification organization. Biodynamic agriculture is based on the view of a farm as a self-contained organism. Certified organic vineyards must meet Demeter"s additional criteria for a period of one year before earning the designation "biodynamic."
Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
