Stag's Leap Wine Cellars
Textbook Cabernet Sauvignon aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, cedar and forest floor get a boost of complexity from hints of rosemary, gentle fresh herbs, baking spice and vanilla caramel. The wine is deep, dark and intense, yet also signature Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars: medium-full-bodied, firmly structured, powerful yet elegant, and with a long, succulent finish. Enjoy it with steak au poivre or grilled duck breast with braised escarole.

"Here's a Cab to put in the cellar. It's big and rich and frankly sensatonal, just massive in blackberries, currants and sweet dark chocolate. The tannins are fierce, but very fine, and the overall balance is impeccable. Too astringent now, even with decanting, but should easily improve in the bottle throughout the next decade.Cellar Selection."

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
